We are pleased to inform that we have recently had the opportunity to cooperate with the Polish Green Building Council PLGBC on the development of the Interactive Healthy Green Office Guide and the Healthy Green Practical Office manual, premiered in October this year. There you will find some interesting information on the functioning of the office and some useful solutions that have an impact on the quality of the office work. Our group of experts, participating in the working groups and developing the guide, has grown with CTO Beata Dziedzic who gave valuable tips on plants kept indoors and issues on biophilic design.
Biophilic design is a trend of the creation of space occupied by a human. The design of the space should improve human contact with nature. This results from the fact that humans are an integral part of the world of nature, which has an unquestionably positive effect and regulates the mental balance. Currently, we spend a lot of our valuable time indoors, including working in offices which makes the contact with nature difficult, and thus - our mental comfort is disturbed. In order to improve working conditions and our well-being, it is worth introducing plants to the office. Both the world research and those commissioned by our company and conducted by PLGBC and the Silesian University of Technology* unequivocally indicate that greenery has a positive effect on human well-being and health. It not only reduces stress level but also increases work efficiency and creativity of employees. Vertical green walls made of living plants that clean and moisturise dry air, as well as moss panels that improve room acoustics are a perfect solution.
These and other practical solutions can be found in the Interactive Healthy Green Office Guide and the Healthy Green Practical Office manual. Enjoy reading (Polish versions only).
*The research was carried out as part of the project "Innovative furniture system for commercial spaces with an integrated vertical garden system". The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020
