Green wall of stabilised plants in a law firm

Company: law firm
City: Warsaw
Zone: welcome zone/ waiting room

Our common mission undertaken with the architect Agnieszka Szambelan was to revive the interior of the Warsaw law firm. It was a custom-designed project, with the intention of making the welcome zone more attractive - this moss project is the beginning of our further cooperation, as we are currently working on introducing live vegetation elsewhere. The owners of the interior have decided to apply stabilised plants because they wanted a solution with long-term durability that would revive and decorate the interior, and at the same time not require any maintenance or lighting. In the stabilisation process, the original properties of plants, including their shape and texture, have been preserved, which allows to bring nature closer to the users of the interior. The vertical garden at the entrance to the office welcomes clients of the law firm from the very doorstep.

A green wall made of several species of stabilised plants is distinguished by an original, varied composition. In the project, we have used three different types of moss with varied textures and shades. Flat moss forms a dark base against which bright green tufts of pole moss and brighter, irregular strips of lichen - reindeer lichen stand out. In addition, the composition contains other stabilised plants, including fern and two varieties of eucalyptus. The use of various species has allowed to achieve a unique, decorative effect, and the green wall itself is long-lasting and completely maintenance-free.
